Had some of the best cappuccinos and double espressos here in northern Portugal. The coffee tasted fresh and dialled in correctly. Also supermarket in the back for any supplies for pilgrims.

Local coffee shop and supermarket. Here you can find almost anything you need. Right in the Camino's Santiago path. Very handy for everyone but especially pilgrims. From plasters to food and everyday needs. The owners friendly and eagerness to help, is amazing and make the place shine. Is a local place, is just what you can expect. Card payments accepted, open everyday 7am-23pm except Sundays closes at midday. Correct at the time of writing this review, August 2023.

I had a wonderful morning stop at Café Jaime in Rubiães. The pastry was delicious, and I picked up some charming souvenirs. The café is beautifully situated by the Coura River, where the water splits into three streams. Just behind the store, a lovely little path leads you closer to the flowing water, a peaceful hidden gem that made the stop even more special.

Lovely family run shop/cafe, very well stocked shop (groceries and hardware) and a great place to stop for a coffee right on the Caminho!

Great cafe/grocery shop for Pilgrim on the camino. Only 1 km from Albergue Rubiães. Owners speak French. It's interesting when you walk in, you will see the cafe and then the grocery shop is at the other side. Very well-equipped shop, you can find fresh fruits, ham, chorizo, cheese. Cookies, pasta...... You see local people come here to have coffee or buy some food as well. Chat with owners, the shop is open every day all year round. 7Am to 8Pm from Monday to Saturday Then 7am to 12pm on Sundays. They are open even during public holiday. Visited in November 2022 21/11/2022
